Larson is the first NIACC player to win national honors since Sammie Sproul was selected as the national player of the week in the first week of November in the 2015-16 season.
Larson led No. 14 NIACC to a pair of victories last weekend at the annual Konigsmark Klassic. Larson, who prepped at West Fork, scored 17 points in the season-opening win over No. 11 Illinois Central on Friday.
Larson recorded her first career double-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds and six steals in a win over Bryant & Stratton on Saturday.
Larson is averaging 15.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game with eight steals and four assists.
NIACC (2-0) returns to action Friday and Saturday at Ellsworth’s Dale Howard Classic in Iowa Falls. The Lady Trojans play Little Priest Tribal College at 2 p.m. on Friday and take on Lake Land College at noon on Saturday.
