VENTURA – A semi carrying a load of corn overturned Tuesday evening near Ventura.
The one-vehicle accident happened around 2:40 PM at 280th and Balsam Ave, just north of Ventura.
Clear Lake, Ventura and Garner emergency units were dispatched to the location. Before any emergency vehicles got to the accident, it could be seen that a semi truck carrying a load of corn had rolled onto its side trying to make a right hand turn. Corn had dumped into the ditch.
A man at the scene said, “Everything is okay, there are no injuries.” There was no immediate word on the identity of the driver.
Around 5:15 pm, State Troopers were still there direction traffic away from the accident.
