Iowa falls to Minnesota in volleyball, 3 sets to 2

logo_iowa_hawkeyesIOWA CITY – The University of Iowa volleyball team fell to third-ranked Minnesota, 3-2, inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Friday night. The loss drops the Hawkeyes to 15-6 overall and 5-4 in Big Ten play.

Senior Loxley Keala recorded 64 assists in tonight’s match, becoming the eighth Hawkeye in program history to amass 2,000 assists in a career.

Iowa returns to Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Saturday night for a 7 p.m. (CT) matchup with No. 4 Wisconsin.
