MASON CITY – Details are sparse so far, but an auto accident was reported Tuesday at about noon in which a Mason City police car was impacted.
The only details available so far:
11:57 am today, there was a collision at the intersection of State and Georgia Ave. The State Patrol did the investigation and report.
NIT will report more when that information is released.
Looks like the cop pulled out in front of her from police station parking lot.
There you go jumping to conclusions before you know the facts. The cop was going east on State Street(No Stop Sign There). She was coming off Georgia (Stop Sign There). She was ticketed as she should have been for not remaining stopped until traffic cleared.
No stop signs there, a four way stop LIGHT! I don’t believe she was ticketed.
You are wrong. there is no light on State and Georgia. Only a stop sign on Georgia. And, the Globe article says she was ticketed.
well, its like this, If the cop was at fault, it will be forgiven.
If its the other vehicles fault, failure to control, etc. Hundreds of dollars of revenue ( I mean fines)
That’s how the last two cop crashes were handled. Just watch
