Clear Lake man arrested for felony drunk driving

CERRO GORDO COUNTY – A Clear Lake man has been charged with felony drunk driving.

Zachary Michael Lincoln, age 33 of Clear Lake is facing a felony drunk driving charge as he was booked into the county jail this weekend on an arrest warrant. Records show his alleged drunk driving offense took place July 14 and the third-offense operating while intoxicated charge was brought by the Iowa State Patrol.

Lincoln was charged in 2009 in Cerro Gordo county by the Iowa State Patrol with second-offense operating while intoxicated and paid $3000.78 in fines and court fees. He was also caught by the Iowa State Patrol in Buchanan county back in 2007 for first-offense operating while intoxicated. He paid $1,890.00 in fines and court fees in that case.

Oh good, when he gets out, he can pay off all his bad checks he’s been writing in north Iowa before he goes back in for theft.

This makes me very sad for his mom.
