MASON CITY – A possible illegal alien was caught by a deputy early this morning as he sped through town, allegedly intoxicated.

A Cerro Gordo county deputy stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Monroe Avenue and State Street at about 1:52 AM, as it was traveling above the posted speed limit. The deputy investigated and found that the driver, 25-year-old Ricardo Nava-Hernandez had no driver’s license. The deputy also determined that Nava-Hernandez was intoxicated. He was then arrested and taken tot he county jail.

The sheriff’s office placed on ICE detainer on Nava-Hernandez. This means Nava-Hernandez may not be a legal citizen of the United States and could be deported at some point.

Thanks Obama.

It is also possible that our government is the most corrupt bunch of liberal snakes to every be called a government – and that goes down the ladder to cities also. TRUMP 2016 !!!

Doesn’t look like he is in Jail at this time. I wonder if they let him go? Was he legal or not?

John they never take the mug shots after they are placed in the cell. They take the photo first during booking besides the bars wouldn’t allow a clear picture of the face. But yes drunk drivers are jailed for their safety and the liability protection of the county who is responsible for them till sober. Often they have to post bond to insure they will show up for court. If the person is here illegally and has committed a crime, ICE. is called and advised of the situation it’s their call if the defendant is picked up and taken for a deportation hearing.

No speed limits there.

Hot damn that’s another one to get rid of.
