Mason City woman in trouble after third arrest and two deferred judgements

MASON CITY – Three crimes and two deferred judgments later, a Mason City woman is back in jail after pleading guilty to domestic assault.

Clare G. Birkedal, age 26, most recently pleaded guilty to domestic abuse assault after police were called to 1302 South Penn Avenue on April 16, 2015 for a domestic incident. She was finally sentenced this past March and was given a deferred judgement with probation and fines. A judge imposed a 5-year no-contact order between her and the victim. Birkedal was arrested and taken to the Cerro Gordo county jail today as she is accused of violating her probation in this case. She’s being held on $1,000 bond as she awaits a September 26 court date.

In 2014, Birkedal was found guilty of harassment in the third degree after an incident at a Mason City retail store. According to police, Birkedal entered the MC Sports store, located at 452 Indianhead Drive, on December 18, 2013 at about 5:15 PM and asked for a specific employee there. When the employee came to wait on Birkedal, she allegedly began raising her voice in a confrontational manner and crowded the employee’s personal space. Birkedal was carrying a sweatshirt at this time which she then moved, revealing what appeared to be a firearm worn in a holster on her waist. It is believed that the agitated, confrontational manner of Birkedal combined with her allegedly showing the firearm or bb gun worn on her side at the same time was done with the intent to intimidate the employee. Police said that Birkedal never removed the firearm / bb gun or made a specific threat to use the firearm. She was arrested that evening and charged with 3rd degree harassment and was also banned from the store.

On December 3, 2013, Birkedal was in the Mason City Wal-Mart at about 10:51 AM when employees called police to report a female was in the store, acting strange and damaging merchandise. Police responded and observed Birkedal in the pharmacy section tearing open numerous merchandise packages after she grabbed them off the shelves. Birkedal appeared to be trying to use some of the products immediately after she removed them from the packaging while other items were discarded after she opened the packaging. Police stopped her destructive behavior and cited and released Birkedal for 5th degree criminal mischief. She is accused of damaging $35 worth of merchandise during this incident. She later pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay fines and court fees.

Birkedal was also caught drunk driving by Mason City police back in 2009; she pled guilty.

She is a dyke with a stupid haircut and she is mentally ill. She is bipolar. She is also nasty. She stinks and takes a bath once a month if even that. Don’t know when the last time she washed her hair and her breath will make your eyes swell up and recede into your skull. She is just nasty. Im just kidding I don’t know her! I will say she is out of deferred judgments and she needs to get her life together and stop smoking crack or meth.

Another confused Democrat who can’t figure out if it is a man or a woman.

she looks like a DYKE with the butch haircut
