ROWAN, IOWA – A rural Iowa hog confinement was on fire Monday.
There were few details immediately available, but the fire was near Rowan, Iowa in Wright county, home to dozens of hog confinement sites.
Billowing smoke could be seen for miles. It appeared the fire began before noon. NIT will report more information as it becomes available.
Hmm! Prestage plans on settling in wright county. Was this fire accidental or….

Making bacon is all who wants smoked ham?
report is, Janet drove by there a few minutes ago and could smell nothing.
And there was no smell.
