HARRISON COUNTY, IOWA – A tragic ATV accident took the life of an Iowa woman and left her child injured.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, on March 14 at about 1:26 PM, 27-year-old Jordan Muxfeldt, reportedly pregnant with twins, was riding a 2010 Polaris 4-wheeler northbound on Morgan Avenue in Harrison county. Her passenger was her 3-year-old son, Wade. The patrol reports that for an unknown reason, Jordan made an abrupt right turn causing the 4-wheeler to roll. Both Jordan and Wade were thrown onto the pavement.
Emergency crews arrived and both Jordan and Wade were flown by helicopter to an area hospitals. Jordan Muxfeldt was pronounced deceased hours later.
