Trump chooses to raise money for veterans instead of participate in Fox News debate

NEW YORK – Donald Trump, leading in most polls leading up to next week’s Republican caucuses in Iowa, had told Fox News he will not be participating in their next debate, and will instead fundraise for veterans.

As someone who wrote one of the best-selling business books of all time, The Art of the Deal, who has built an incredible company, including some of the most valuable and iconic assets in the world, and as someone who has a personal net worth of many billions of dollars, Mr. Trump knows a bad deal when he sees one. FOX News is making tens of millions of dollars on debates, and setting ratings records (the highest in history), where as in previous years they were low-rated afterthoughts.

Unlike the very stupid, highly incompetent people running our country into the ground, Mr. Trump knows when to walk away. Roger Ailes and FOX News think they can toy with him, but Mr. Trump doesn’t play games. There have already been six debates, and according to all online debate polls including Drudge, Slate, Time Magazine, and many others, Mr. Trump has won all of them, in particular the last one. Whereas he has always been a job creator and not a debater, he nevertheless truly enjoys the debating process – and it has been very good for him, both in polls and popularity.

He will not be participating in the FOX News debate and will instead host an event in Iowa to raise money for the Veterans and Wounded Warriors, who have been treated so horribly by our all talk, no action politicians. Like running for office as an extremely successful person, this takes guts and it is the kind mentality our country needs in order to Make America Great Again.

The uneducated bumpkin faction of the GOP is why my party has lost the last two GOP elections and further hurting Iowa’s relevancy in the Caucus/Primary system

I am going to stick with Cruz. I am not entirely against big oil. I don’t believe that global warming is as dire as they make it out to be.

On the other hand, Cruz fully understands how serious the next appointments to the Supreme Court are.

I also believe he is willing to stand up for the working men and women of this country and stop the headwinds of big government.

While I like much of what Trump says and love Rubio’s passion and will vote for either of them should they get the nod, I will caucus for Cruz if I can.

Of course you don’t believe the 99.9% of scientists that claim global warming is man made and a real problem. Just ignore all of those smart people and stick with what you “think”. Not entirely against Big Oil, that’s laughable. The future of America is not with oil, it’s with alternative energy sources. You sound old, stupid, and irrelevant.

Did you know that the Golf Hats sold in the gift shop at Trump Towers bear the slogan Make America Great Again? Perhaps, but did you also know that the label inside the cap reads Made in China? Check it out.

Being a veteran and a small business owner Donald (HONEST) Trump had my voted sealed weeks ago. The demaorats have no viable contender even if blummbutt enters the race. Crus is the favorite of big money and the elite and a continuation of Obozo – A vote for cruz is a vote for another nonAamerican president and we all know how that kenyon has worked out. Heard cruz is busing in Canadians and illegals for a win in Iowa – not to worry -they will still be around to vote next november unless their VETTED – 1963 covette bs style.

I don’t believe you are supporting Trump. I also don’t believe your assessment of Ted Cruz is true either.

Ted Cruz took on the entire Senate because they were lying to the American people when they said the were NOT going to fund Obamacare and then expected Ted Cruz to vote in lock step to fund it so they would not have to have a “roll call vote.” His no vote forced a roll call vote and then the Republican leadership dumped on him. I respect Mr. Cruz for his honesty and vote for the American people.

Cruz has nothing to do with Wall Street, the Establishment, or any of the concepts you labeled him with.

My first choice is Cruz. Trump has to many liberal tendencies for me to trust him with many of the decisions the next President is going to be faced with.

Cruz has “nothing to do with Wall Street”??? You’re not a very good watchdog now are you? His 4th biggest donor is Goldman Sachs

Cruz is big oil all the way. That is why I don’t favor him.

You sound like an idiot. The only thing honest about Trump is that he honestly has no plans for solving any issues. He’s going to “check into that” is the basis of his entire campaign.

The comment about shooting someone and not losing supporters sobered me up about the Donald. It was an interesting ride that the media made BILLIONS from in advertising funds, but I’ve settled on Bernie. Donald has a vision of large Barons and millions of serfs working for those megalons. Bernie envisions the peasants gaining control of their own lives and living in peace. I’m ready for Bernie’s vision.

The nostalgia Americans feel for Trump is based on simpler times when communications between humans were controlled and kept to a minimal. In the digital age, humans are charting their own destiny and the ideas of large Big Boss Barons providing for their underlings isn’t relevant anymore. The class distinctions of “blue-white collars” was based on humans with actually very limited choice. It seemed like life was good because life was kept within the contiguous borders of the United States and the executives built their companies here in America using American workers. Now that is gone…so let it go. The new paradigm is one of renewable energy, local economy, and complete freedom from economic and mental bondage. Trump wants to be the hero riding in on a horse like CAESAR. He’s delusional.

I was going to caucus with Trump because I liked how he seemed to be disrupting status quo politics…but upon closer examination of listening to the man, I don’t think anything substantial is there. It’s really just about Trump the man, the billionaire, and not Trump the policies and ideas. He’s an egocentric candidate who sorta hits on common sense concerns such as immigration and Islam. But he’s also very phony when he panders to the Bible bangers. Do I believe Trump is religious? NO. Basically CNN and the other networks used Trump to ride a huge media wave which brought them in billions for advertising funds–they owe him in that regard. But they are counting on his wave crashing on the rocks and dissipating into white foamy nothingness. Whether Trump can avoid that pre-determined fate is up to him, but comments about shooting people aren’t helping. Ultimately I’ve switched over to Sanders for the time being, but if Trump can get his act together and come up with some real proposals, and assurances as to what he’ll do, then I may keep listening. As of now my biggest concern is Revolution of the Justice System and bridging the authoritarian gap with the common people and those ostracized.

As of now my biggest concern is Revolution of the Justice System and bridging the authoritarian gap with the common people and those ostracized for political reasons. I’m hoping Obama sends out a massive retro active blanket PARDON to completely clear the slate for people convicted of petty non violent drug offenses. That would be a major kick in the nuts to the penal society that relies on politically decapitating humans who tinker with substances.

Trump isn’t fit to be president if he can’t take the heat that might come from hard questions from a reporter. If he was elected, does he think he can dictate what the media says about him? If he does, then he will have to shut down the media and that my friends, is not going to happen.

Trump isn’t trying to take down the media. He is wisely not going to let them set the agenda. To bad the rest of America can’t see through the media and how it controls the issues and sets the agenda.

Our country needs a conservative thinking leader to put our economy and financial house in order. America is bankrupt and the Socialist/Communist/Democrats are hell bent on making us all slaves to the Government.

I’ll take freedom over government control. You left wingers may want to be tax slaves but don’t drag the rest of us into that sewer with you.

Go Trump!

I didn’t realize only you and the Donald were privy to what the media’s agenda is. That is quite a statement “To(sic) bad the rest of America can’t see through the media and how it controls the issues and sets the agenda.”

Go Donald Go!

Finally someone has stood up to the media. This has been all about destroying Trump from day one and Trump has decided not to put himself back in position to be pushed around by some lame moderator. Good on him.

I am so loving this. Trump has put Fox News and Megan Kelly in their place for the unwarranted “got-cha” question at the first debate

Trump shows great courage and leadership by telling them to kiss off. He knows when to walk away. This is leadership. Something we have not seen in a very long time and we are not used to it. He has everyone’s emotions confused and on edge, but not mine. He is spot on.

The media is always trying to destroy politicians with their misleading stories. Case in point: the media is now trying to say Trump don’t care about Iowa by not showing up to the debate. That is total bull crap. Not doing the debate does not equate to disliking Iowa, but that is what the media is saying.

Go Donald Go!!!!

FYI: I support Ted Cruz but will vote for Trump if he gets the nomination.

It’s funny how the right wing nut jobs who would typically pleasure themselves to Fox News are now all anti-Fox News because of Donald Dump.

“We have guys who are afraid to go into a debate. How would they stand up to China if afraid to debate?” – Donald Trump 2011

Introducing the Ducking Donald – very appropriate.
When the going gets tough, he folds like cheap suit.

The Trump groupie fan club will support him no matter what he does. Talk about sheeple.
Problem for Trump, most common sense voters have already decided, this clown is not presidential.

those are not debates they are gatcha statments . I would have walked off the stage the first time it would have been beneath me. Let alone a president. Those debates are BULL ####

Funny how you keep making excuses for your Dictator candidate. SHEEPLE

The last time Trump said he was raising money for “veterans,” the money all went to a Super-PAC and was used to make political donations to candidates that supposedly will “help” veterans once elected. Uh-huh. You betcha.

Fox news will lose 10’s of millions of dollars – why? if the Donald is not there then 62% of America could care less what the leftover -smoke and mirrors have to say – By the way ? Where is obummer hiding? I heard this magician wants to be appointed to the US supreme court – hell he now thinks he is the supreme whatever.

62% of America?? LOL more like 62% of Americas uneducated idiots

10’s of millions? Show us the math.

Trumps campaign MANAGER refused the debate – it involved a set up by the establishment ($225 million to defeat trump) it was a question by Kelly to start an untrue scandal about Donald before the Iowa caucases – Sheesh! this has been old news for over a week. Trumps smart and is not going to be lead like a sheep to slaughter. GO TRUMP 2016! Clean house on this dynasty of liars and crooks.

Put on your big boy panties Donald and face the establishment otherwise you are the biggest looser….. fired!

Quit making excuses for your pussy candidate.

Megan likes Hillary rug.

Very Presidential. Back down from a woman moderator. Looser……you’re fired.

NADA – Run back to Clinton you worthless POS.

I don’t support Clinton at all, but I will vote for her if she wins the D nomination. She’s better than any of the loonies on the right. FEEL THE BERN

Once a IDIOT always a IDIOT.

Once a dumbass always a dumbass.

Once a Jerk always a Jerk

So you’d rather vote for someone who voted for that lie of a war in Iraq? yeah that makes sense.

Who led the lie?

LOL Trump – what a chicken
