MASON CITY – Three of the top contenders to be the next president will be making stops in the North Iowa area within the next week.
Hillary Clinton – the clear Democratic leader – plans to visit Iowa Monday and Tuesday. She will hit three main cities – Davenport, Cedar Rapids and Des Moines – on Monday. On Tuesday, she will make a stop in Osage at the Public Safety Center at 11:45 AM before moving on to Sioux City and Council Bluffs.
On Friday, January 8, Texas Senator Ted Cruz will be in Mason City. Cruz will be at the Praise Community Church, 11 2nd Street NW, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Cruz is rising in the polls and rivaling Donald Trump in Iowa as the caucus approaches.
Donald Trump will be visiting Clear Lake on Saturday, January 9. He will be at the Surf Ballroom, 460 North Shore Drive at 4 PM. Doors open at 2:00 pm and the event is free and open to the public.
