MASON CITY – A Mason City woman who allegedly stabbed her boyfriend during a recent domestic incident has been arrested for violating a no-contact order with the victim in that case.
Jennifer Lynn Frangis, age 32, was jailed Thursday evening after a complaint about her violating a no-contact order with an alleged victim in a domestic assault case. Back on the late evening of September 3, a physical altercation was reported in the 100 block of 5th Street NW. Officers arrived and spoke to the victim who reported being cut with a knife during the argument. However, police said the injury cut appeared to be superficial. Fire medics were summoned to assess the victim but did not transport.
Frangis was jailed, and a no-contact order was set. She applied to have the order removed in October, but a judge denied the request. She will face a jury trial on December 15. She is now in jail for violating the order and could face a 7-day jail sentence.
Frangis pled guilty to a theft charge in Mason City earlier this year and was ordered to pay $400 in fines and court fees, but records show she has not yet made a payment on that balance.
If the boyfriend is with her I think he should be checked out for a mental problem. Maybe she is strong arming him to be with her. HA HA
I’ve seen her with her boyfriend all week walking. He’s the protected party. Everytime I see them together I think, gee these people deserve each other. This “chick” is a nuisance and should be on medication.
Man give this woman a ticket to Syria and let her hunt down the isis leaders, just her looks would make a terrorist turn and run. FUGLEY
