The “American Era” is over. The US empire is in terminal decline, like the UK in the 50s. Both clown candidates promise some mythical imperial BS versions of America’s past, instead of drawing up serious plans for a peaceful future.

Capitalist countries are the most prosperous countries in the world. The standard of living is the highest in capitalist countries. We see more poor people move up the economic ladder to the middle and even the wealthy class through their effort and ability in capitalist countries than any other economic system in the world, but we are told capitalism is an oppressive system designed to keep people down. So, we ask ourselves, am I crazy? No, you’re being gaslighted.

I agree. Biden is an old time seg who Obama put on the ballot to get white votes.

Harris has a terrible record as DA and Cali AG. She kept innocent people in jail and worried about releasing prisoners because they were needed for cheap labor in the prison system. She also refused to prosecute Mnuchin’s bank for fraud after he gave her a big campaign donation. Assistants resigned over this.

As I still see her face, I honestly wonder why LeBron James is not speaking to this tragedy. Where is the voice of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell? Why isn’t the name of this wonderful little girl written on the shoes and sneakers of all those athletes protesting the shooting of Jacob Blake? Why didn’t the NBA and the NHL postpone games in her honor? Why isn’t ESPN’S Kirk Herbstreit also shedding tears for little Anisa? Where is the American Airlines pin for her? Why has most of the media and political class ignored her killing?

The first part of your rant is your way of insulting the names you listed. How do you know they haven’t donated? Second part is pathetic. You haven’t been paying attention. Floyd and Blake are representative of all Blacks. It is something they think about a lot because it happens to them -a lot. The majority of players in the NFL and NBA are POC. They get it. It’s not right that POC need to fear being pulled over by law enforcement. I like the police. For the most part, they are excellent people and friends. There are some bad ones and there are police departments that facilitate the bad ones and one needs to be fired and charged, and the other needs re-structuring to ensure it gets better. Look up Vallejo, California and police officer shootings. This protest has nothing to do with that little girl. If they shut down for every murder victim, they would be out of work for the next 40 some years – every year.

Are you Black? If not, don’t tell me not to speak of Black people. Floyd and Blake ARE representative of what happens to POC far too often in our society. Shoot first, ask questions later. See where Breonna Taylor’s family was awarded $12 million by the city of Atlanta? If her family and others wouldn’t have continued to make a stink about her murder, nothing would have happened to the officers who killed her.

You’re not making the connection. The narrative that police are hunting black men in the street is complete malarkey. Data shows this narrative is false as more white people are killed by law enforcement than black people (and by a WIDE margin).

What IS correlated to law enforcement shootings is not race but rather behavior. Those who resist law enforcement and make threatening gestures towards police officers are highly correlated with police shootings. And guess what? Police have EVERY right to defend themselves when you threaten them

Correlation does not equal causation. It is also true that people that take more breaks at work are much more likely to get cancer. This is an absolutely 100% true fact. So by your methodology, we should all stop taking breaks because breaks cause cancer. The problem is you have not correlated the correct causation. It is not breaks that cause cancer, but rather smokers who take more breaks who in turn get cancer. Smoking is the causation.

Shootings by police has no causation with race. Where causation exists is behavior. Those who resist police and make threatening motions towards police are the ones who get shot, regardless of color.

You posted an editorial, not a study. At no point in that opinion piece do they ever describe the data collection process and data analysis. Fact remains that more white people are killed by police than black people and by a WIDE margin. The narrative that black folks are hunted in the street by police is completely false and unsupported by data.

In 2019, 13 black men were shot by police, (like Jacob Blake, so mainstream media calls them unarmed).

13 people lost their lives in 375 million police interactions.

If Democrats have the truth on their side, why do they need to lie so much? It’s a question for the ages. Every time you turn on the news or open a paper, some headline is blaring about how President Trump is a disaster. You name it – Coronavirus, trade, the economy, race relations, the military, schools – and there is a liberal Democrat with a press credential telling you how those things and more are bad, and have never been worse, no matter the evidence to the contrary..

Take your first sentence and apply it to the President. It fits perfectly. His ‘opinions’ direct US policy and he should be using facts and listening to the experts. He refuses to do so because that would mean someone else knows more than he does and to him, that is not possible.

Prostitution will always be with us because the problem is that hot women are in demand and they exploit it.
Gays will always be with us because sexuality is easily warped.

And so trannies will always be with us because they want so badly to be coveted for having what the opposite sex has.

Tomboys who accept their female nature yet play well with men and accept their role as lieutenant and stay in good shape and obey their man are precious for this. But beware! The rest of the world outside of Canada and the US celebrates their Labor Day on May 1st.

Why is May 1st celebrated as International Workingman’s Day?

It’s in honor of the successful general strike in Chicago on May 1st, 1867 in support of the 8 hour work day. Chicago’s 8 hour day was the first in the world and soon spread to the rest of the industrialized world.

I think our September Labor day date is an effort to erase that radical US labor history.

Pardon me, it’s called International Workers Day.

“While it may belong to a tradition of spring festivals, the date was chosen in 1889 for political reasons by the Marxist International Socialist Congress, which met in Paris and established the Second International as a successor to the earlier International Workingmen’s Association. They adopted a resolution for a “great international demonstration” in support of working-class demands for the eight-hour day.

The first of May is a national, public holiday in many countries across the world, in most cases as “International Workers’ Day” or a similar name.”

    The future of the US?

The first 1st world country to de-develop. Next stop, Brazil here we come. Both leftwing and rightwing mainstream publications openly describe the US as a failed state.

Like Brazil, the rich in the US will live behind barbed-wire in exclusive compounds patrolled by cops who will beat the crap out of everyone else.

That’s exactly what Trump, McConnell, Barr, the Koches, and their Russian overlords want, and they’re already halfway there.

So Mr American Patriot Liar, if it is wrong, then prove it. And quit deleting posts. It shows that you really aren’t a patriot but a Nazi. Remember freedom of speech goes both ways.

Big winter storm in the Rockies tomorrow. Looks like I will have to postpone my trip back home to Idaho for a few days.

Took a trip to Clear Lake yesterday – Downtown was crowded and the sea wall and central park was also crowded and the music coming from the band shell was refreshing. Really I don’t remember seeing any Faucci MASKS on anyone(could have been a few but not in my view. Also Clear Lake has a five day school week? Good going folks! So much for China Joes predictions and hoax! Think for yourself and don’t ALWAYS trust the Government for you health needs. Saw some China Biden signs at the state park – campers said the worked swell for starting barbecue fires.

Iowa has the third highest per capita number of cases in the US.

I always thought Iowa had a good educational system. Your post disproves that.

Life isn’t “fair,” get over it. Most of the problems in people’s lives are a direct result of the bad decisions they’ve made. But personal responsibility is a tough sell, and people don’t want to hear about how skipping school or smoking a lot of weed as a kid aren’t exactly what paves the road to living like a Kardashian. They’d rather be told the system is rigged against them.
