Shortly after 6:00 PM on Sunday, Minneapolis Police officers responded to a report of a personal injury crash on Broadway Street Northeast west of University Avenue Northeast. When officers arrived, they located an adult male with critical injuries lying in the roadway.
It appears that the motorcyclist was travelling eastbound when he collided with a westbound vehicle. The motorcyclist was transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center where he later died.
The other driver was unhurt and is cooperating with investigators. The Minneapolis Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating this crash.
The Medical Examiner will release the identity of the deceased, along with the nature and cause of death.
