MASON CITY – A man who was bothering patrons at a local bar was found and arrested.
Cerro Gordo deputies responded to assist Mason City police in what was described as a “fight” at the the Willow Run, 2821 4th Street SW, in Mason City on Wednesday evening, October 14 at about 9:41 PM. A Mason City police spokesman tells NIT that officers were dispatched to the Willow Mart on a report of a male or a group of males trying to start a fight with others in the area. Law enforcement arrived and were told a man was bothering patrons inside the establishment before he left. Officers found a man matching the description nearby and arrested him.
Orlin Cruz-Diaz, age 25, who lives in nearby apartments, was taken to jail for public intoxication and disorderly conduct and later released pending a court date.
