OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The NIACC women’s basketball team plays in the Heartland Jamboree Sunday on the Johnson County Community College campus.
The Lady Trojans play Barton Community College at noon on Court 2 and face Cottey College at 2 p.m. on Court 1.
The Lady Trojans return six players from last year’s team that was 25-6. The returners are Savannah Lentz, Sam Adamich, Georgina Wirth, Anna Eckert, Trudy Peterson and Diamond Miller.
The NIACC men’s basketball team plays three games Saturday at the 2015 Juco Jam on the Northern Iowa campus.
The Trojans Milwaukee Area Technical College at noon on Court 2 in the Wellness and Recreation Center. They also play Madison College at 2 p.m. on Court 1 and face Black Hawk Community College at 4 p.m. on Court 2.
The Trojans return three players from last year’s team that was17-15 overall.
The three returners are Angus Fischer, Trei Mitchell and Boy Van Vliet.
