MASON CITY – The NIACC men’s soccer team topped the Gustavus Adolphus Junior Varsity 3-0 on Sunday afternoon at the NIACC pitch.
NIACC, which dropped a 1-0 decision to No. 10 Marshalltown on Saturday, received goals from Jackson Finn, Khaliyl Hanson and Hafiz Sanor in Sunday’s non-conference match.
NIACC, which led 2-0 at the half, snapped a six-match losing streak.
Brandon Johnson picked up the win in-goal for the Trojans. It was the third shutout of the season for the Trojans.
NIACC (5-6 overall) returns to action Saturday in an ICCAC contest at Scott CC in Bettendorf. NIACC topped Scott 1-0 in the first meeting between the two schools this season.
