MASON CITY – The NIACC men’s soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to Indian Hills Saturday at the NIACC pitch.
Indian Hills led 2-0 at the half on the strength of two goals from freshman Tulio Santos.
NIACC trimmed the deficit to 2-1 on a goal from freshman Dion Dozzell at the 42:43 mark of the second half, but that would be as close as the Trojans would get. Jack Hurley provided the assist on the goal from Dozzell.
NIACC (4-4 overall, 1-4 in the ICCAC) returns to action Wednesday at home against Northeast Community College.
