Riceville woman caught stealing at Walmart

MASON CITY – A Riceville woman was jailed after she was caught allegedly trying to steal from Walmart.

Mason City police were dispatched to Walmart, 4151 4th Street SW, on July 16 after 8 PM after loss prevention reported they had detained a female shoplifter. Police arrested 19-year-old Carly Frances Cummings of Riceville on a charge of 5th degree theft for attempting to steal an item valued under $200.00.

Cummings has entered a not guilty plea and awaits an August 27 non jury trial.

Cummings is also awaiting an August 21 trial in Mitchell county on a charge of fifth degree theft. She was charged by the Mitchell county sheriff’s office.

So is that what this is? The mission to employ all the criminals? It’s astounding how society keeps churning out criminals with no end in sight. Yet no one pauses to think about the structure that continues this behavior. Society is sacrosanct and it’s the persons job to conform to it, rather than vice versa. How’s that working out? Everyday more arrest stories.

There seems to be a pattern here, how many times have you done this and didn’t get caught. Get a job, you’ll feel a lot better about yourself.
