NEW HAMPTON, IOWA – A methamphetmaine lab “dump site” was discovered in rural Chickasaw county, leading to the arrest of four people.
According to Sheriff Todd W. Miller, evidence was collected and a methamphetmaine Lab “dump site” was removed and cleaned by the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement (IA DNE) and the Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office.
The collected evidence and investigation led to two separate search warrants being conducted by the Chickasaw County Sheriff on 22 June 2015 at 800 W. Milwaukee #21 in New Hampton and 110 S. Wapsie in North Washington.
As a result, the following four persons were arrested and charged in this incident:
Shain Slick and Dillon Refshauge are currently in the Chickasaw County Jail. Catherine Hauser was released from Jail on Bond. An arrest warrant has been issued for Zaccariah D. Refshauge in connection to this incident. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Chickasaw County Sheriff at 641 394 3121 or your local law enforcement.
The Chickasaw County Sheriff was assisted in this case by the Iowa DNE and New Hampton Police.
Sheriff Miller said this case arose due to observant citizens. The Chickasaw County Sheriff thanked and applauded these persons for their help in this investigation.
