MASON CITY – A former Mason City man now claiming to live in San Diego was arrested for harassment Sunday night after a warrant for his arrest was issued by a judge.
Jacob Heiko Bruns, age 20, was charged by the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office with third degree harassment after an incident on March 30. A warrant was issued the next day, and he was arrested on the evening of April 19 by Mason City police at an apartment at 510 South Illinois Avenue.
Bruns was taken to the county jail and processed before he posted $300 bond later Monday. He has a court date set for May 8.
