MASON CITY – A free jazz concert will be offered at NIACC on the evening of April 23.
Prepare to get jazzed by the North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) Jazz Ensemble, conducted by John Klemas, NIACC Director of Bands. NIACC’s Jazz Ensemble will perform a short program in the Activity Center at NIACC on Thursday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. The event is free of charge.
The NIACC Jazz Club, a cabaret style concert, will have something for everyone. The students are presenting a variety of jazz styles in a relaxing atmosphere, which should make for a very entertaining evening.
The NIACC Jazz Ensemble includes: Saxophones: Cassondra Hampson, Nolan Turner, Hannah Sorenson, Taylor Brierly-Altof, Brandon Gathers; Trumpets: Bridget Staudt, Emily Overy, Lincoln Jost; Trombone: Dylon Collings; Bass: Travis Charlson; Guitar: Special Guest, John Sjolinder; and Drums: Colton Card.
