Des Moines bank robbed Monday

11159531_867136079999975_3564002052980126686_nDES MOINES – A Des Moines bank was robbed Monday morning and police are seeking help from the public in locating a suspect.

At 9:55 AM Monday morning, the Des Moines Police Communications center received report of a robbery at the Bank of the West at 2596 Hubbell Avenue in Des Moines. Employees stated an adult male suspect entered the bank and handed a note to the teller demanding cash. He fled northbound from the bank after he was given an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was shown.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 6’2” tall and in his mid 20’s. He was wearing a beige coat over top a dark shirt, blue jeans and a ball cap. The suspect also had facial hair.
