According to investigator Frank Stearns of the Mason City Police Department, a two car crash occurred Friday, April 10 at about 5:30 PM at the intersection of 15th Street SW and Pierce Avenue.
Amy Wendt, age 58 of Mason City was cited for Unsafe Passing, and Failure to stop for Stop Sign. She was uninjured and her vehicle had approximately $10,000.00 in damage, Officer Stearns said.
Gary Slocum, age 50 from Mason City was also involved in the crash and was not charged. His vehicle also had approximately $10,000.00 in damage. He had a complaint of pain and sought medical attention on his own.
