CHARLES CITY – During an investigation in which stolen items were recovered, Charles City police arrested a woman for a second time for harassment.
Charles City police went to an apartment at the 100 block of 7th Avenue on the evening of March 20 to conduct a search warrant. Stolen items were recovered by police during that search. The investigation into the stolen items is on-going.
At the same time during the search, police discovered a wanted woman, 35-year-old Evangela Boswell. She was arrested on a warrant in connection to a second degree harassment charge. She was taken to the county jail, booked and held on bond until she posted that on Monday, March 23. She awaits a hearing on March 30.
Boswell is also facing first degree harassment charge after an incident last December. She has pleaded not guilty and awaits a jury trial on April 16.
Clearly the Anonymous person who the left that comment didnt know the person they were talking about. This woman has 2 degrees has never lived off of the state she was actually working at the hy vee store in town when this incident happened. Please people get your facts straight, this is called slander.

This is the lowest form of trash that Charles City has. Prostitute with kids, drug addict living off our tax dollars. Always in trouble, violent and can’t read or write. It’s sad her number one worth is between her legs. Never has had a drivers license. Look, someone has to get these people either help to get back on track or get them out of this town. I’ve seen this girl. She can’t form a sentence but she is good with her mouth and lying on her back. The problem is that so are thousands of others.
