MASON CITY – Two women were arrested for drugs during a Cultural Crescent traffic stop as they were driven around by a suspended driver.
Cerro Gordo deputies conducted a traffic stop just before 9 PM Thursday evening, March 19, at the 300 block North Federal Avenue in downtown Mason City. The driver of the vehicle, Ryan Phillip Lewis, was found to be a suspended driver and was arrested on that charge. Two passengers, 23-year-old Stephanie Ann Torres and 21-year-old Jennifer Marie Torres were both arrested on charges of possession of marijuana.
All three were arrested, taken to the county jail and booked. They were soon released, pending court dates.
