MASON CITY – Police took a man to jail early Saturday morning after observing him in the Cultural Crescent, intoxicated.
A Mason City police officer observed a male subject at about 2:39 AM at the 300 block of South Delaware Avenue. After the officer approached the man, 39-year-old Robert Earl Miley, it was determined he was intoxicated. Miley was arrested and charged with public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance.
Miley was released later Saturday, pending a court date.
