CHARLES CITY – Police arrested a Charles City man who they say was drunk and recklessly “mudding” in a yard.
Charles City police received a complaint about a disturbance on March 7 at about 5:17 PM at the 1900 block of Clark Street. Police were notified that reckless drivers were “mudding” in a yard at that location. Upon arrival, police investigated and arrested 49-year-old Ricky Linderman on a charge of second offense operating while intoxicated. He was last caught drunk driving in 2013 (also by Charles City police) and before that, 1999.
Linderman was released from jail on March 8, pending a court date.
