MASON CITY – A one-vehicle crash sent a Mason City man to Mercy Hospital Wednesday.
According to the Cerro Gordo Sheriff’s Office, a 2015 Dodge Challenger operated by 27-year-old Justin T. O’Donnell of Mason City was traveling southbound on Highway 65, north of Mason City, Wednesday morning. O’Donnell lost control of his vehicle and entered the median, where it then struck a tree.
O’Donnell was transported to Mercy Hospital by Mason City fire medics with undisclosed injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
He must have been really going to go that far off the roadway.
Hearsay has it that this is the second accident he has been in, in as many weeks. I also heard that it was a rental car, ouch. Suppose speed had anything to do with it.
