Mason City man jailed after house searched

MASON CITY – A search warrant was executed at a North End house, and a man was taken to jail.

Cerro Gordo deputies went to 334 9th Street NE on the afternoon of February 26, 2015, to execute a search warrant.

That day, Kristofer Warren Voigt was taken to to the county jail on a charge of unauthorized use of a credit card. He was released the same day.

Voigt was accused in 2014 of felony domestic abuse assault involving strangulation, as well as a host of other crimes after an incident in July. He pled guilty to a lesser offenses and as recently as January, had some of the charges dismissed in that case. He is still paying off $1,026.85 in fines and court fees in that case.
