MASON CITY – A Mason City man facing felony gun possession and theft charges has been jailed after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Justin Vandenberg-Foster, age 29, stands accused of two Class D felonies: possession of a firearm by a felon and second-degree theft. He was arrested on November 11 on a warrant after Mason City police brought the charges as a result of his house being searched in October. Vandenberg-Foster’s bond was set at $10,000 but after he entered a guilty plea on December 11, he was released under the supervision of the Department of Corrections.
