OSAGE – Osage police have arrested a 50-year-old man on a range of serious felony charges.
On February 3, 2015, a search warrant was served at 826 S. 6th Street, Osage, Iowa by the Osage Police Department. Assisting with the search were the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Patrol, Iowa DNR and Iowa Department of Criminal Investigations.
Mark Retterath, 50 of Osage, was arrested and charged with Sexual Abuse 3rd Degree, a Class C Felony, Solicitation, a Class D Felony, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Additional charges were filed by the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office. Retterath is being held at the Mitchell County Jail on a $35,000 cash only Bond.
The investigation is ongoing with the potential for additional charges.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
