DUBUQUE – The Canadian Pacific Railroad said that 15 cars and 2 engines derailed outside of Dubuque Thursday.
Possible ethanol spill into the Mississippi River has been reported as a result of the de-railment.
“We continue to work with regulators to ensure best environmental practices,” The CP said in a statement.
There did not appear to be any injuries associated with this accident.
