No injuries and one cited in two-car accident Monday

MASON CITY – There were no reported injuries in a two-car accident Monday in Mason City.

Mason City police said that at about 2:15 PM on Monday, December 22, Diane Evans was driving northbound on South Virginia Avenue and Kevin McElfish was eastbound on 8th Street SE. The two vehicle collided at the intersection.

There were no injuries reported. Both vehicles incurred serious damage. Evans was cited for failure to obey a stop sign and failure to yield.
