If all who criticize law enforcement, could walk in their shoes for a year, in the most violent corrupt city in the US, maybe their opinion would be different. But there are some people that have everything, and they’re still not happy.
I got hurt in iraq so I live on a meager salary I get from the government, I have my kids and grandkids and thats about all but I am happy. Happiness doesn’t mean you have things or money but family.

The balance of power is already upset. There are far more law breakers/criminals walking the streets then there are police. That’s what makes a law enforcement officers job so hard. If we lived in Mayberry, and the only law enforcement was Sheriff Taylor and Barney, life would be good. Unfortunately it’s not that way. There are plenty of citizens who would gladly join their forces on both a paid, and volunteer level, but they are denied. Then the police act like they are so understaffed, and so damn vulnerable. Most police departments require a criminal justice degree to get the job. Some do slip through the cracks or they start out right but the power gets to them. That’s not true. First of all the military doesn’t comprise of any ‘one set mentality’. As much as the top brass would like to be in possession of an army of drones, not all of them have the killer instinct, or the desire to kill anyone. Most are in support and clerical positions. And I was passed up because the enlistment criteria at the time forbid anyone with a drug conviction on their record. Once Iraq hit, they offered waivers, and many East LA gangbangers joined up.
Humans can think for themselves which is what Asymetrical wafare has learned and is currently all about. Navy Seals are encouraged to use their imaginations and ingenuity to get the job done. I’ve known a few enlisted men, and I’ve heard intimate details about some of the behaviors that occurred over in Iraq. Racism abounds, drug dealing is present, and stories of female soldiers “blowing” guys at basecamp. A real bunch of winners, masquerading as “heroes”. These same “heroes” get to drive drunk whenever they want and get all sorts of perks and privileges passed among themselves and law enforcement agencies whom hire many of them.

What does any of these comments have to do with the unexpected assassination of two police officers sitting in their vehicle.
My original statement stands: that if the police are not there to serve the people, they shouldn’t be working as cops, and that if the balance of power is upset, psychos like this one will come out of the woodwork to right the wrongs. Life has a way of balancing itself out, one way or the other, and so the police across America need to correct and humble themselves and stop abusing citizens with excessive deadly force. More psychos will answer the call if they don’t.
Accountability is something liberals and Democrats know nothing about. And, a fool like you is both. You have no job, no home, no pride and certainly no accountability. As I’ve pointed out in previous posts…there is a BALANCE that must be maintained. If the police upset / tip that balance by their actions, it will only tip back against them. The police need to reflect on their behavior. They are servants of the people, and any police officer who puts on the uniform or takes the job needs to understand that point at all times. If they are not there to serve the people they need to be removed from the force, or never join in the first place.

What’s ridiculous about cop cheerleaders like Laura Ingraham and others who say Mayor Bill Diblasio is “turning his back on police” is they operate with a pack mentality, defending members of their police pack with unwavering loyalty. We as citizens have the right to review the actions of police, military and anyone in positions of authority. Checks and balances depends on it.
Where is the accountability and the checks and balances for all the businesses destroyed and the lives of innocent small business people ruined? Where is that accountability? If the New York City Police didn’t behave like such pack animals in the first place, they probably wouldn’t be in this predicament regarding public opinion-and targeted assassinations.
