Lake Mills woman caught stealing at Wal-Mart

MASON CITY – A convicted thief was at it again Sunday, this time taking her talents to the Mason City Wal-Mart.

Angela Mae Thorson, age 37 of Lake Mills, was detained by Wal-Mart loss prevention after 11:00 AM Sunday morning. Police were called, and after an investigation, Thorson was arrested and charged with theft in the third degree due to her criminal history,

Thorson plead guilty to fifth degree theft in 2013 after that charge was brought by Mason City police. She is being held in the county jail on $2,000 bond.

First, ticket everyone parked in the fire lane….or “getaway” lane.

I thought those people parked there were actually firemen waiting for a fire to break out.

@Polio Loco-Good idea, then ticket everyone parked in handicapped illegally. Just think of the money they could make.

Does the cities nuisance policy apply to retail outlets like it does to bars? Seems our Police Department is called to Walmart several times a week. If our police department was called to a bar several times a week it would not be long before for they shut the place down.
