Two Oklahoma residents caught stealing from Mills Fleet Farm

MASON CITY – A couple from Oklahoma was caught shoplifting Friday afternoon and taken to jail.

Cerro Gordo deputies assisted Mason City police in a traffic stop of a man and a woman from the Tulsa, Oklahoma area on Friday afternoon. Both were accused of stealing from Mills Fleet Farm, 3200 4th Street SW, after loss prevention employees there reported the theft.

After the traffic stop outside the store, Timothy Eugene Bormann, age 35 and Heather Natasha Bowman, age 29, were arrested and charged with 5th degree theft and jailed. Both remain in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $300 bond.

I don’t think there are any Fleet Farm stores where they live, they must of thought us simple people in Iowa must be stupid. One rule for not getting caught stealing is don’t steal from any place or anyone.

Fleet farm has one of the best security systems that I have ever seen, or not seen. Their cameras are everywhere, but very well hidden. Good job, FF.
