WATERLOO – Police in Waterloo responded to a stabbing incident Tuesday that resulted in a man losing his life.

On November 25, 2014 at approximately 5:41 PM, the Waterloo Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing at 1826 W. 3rd Street. Officers arrived at this location and found that a male had been stabbed. The male was transported to an area hospital by Waterloo Fire and Rescue.

A short time later it was learned that the male – 38-year-old Shawonyta Marquis Norman – had died due to his injuries.

This incident remains under investigation, and no further information was released.

    Probably some white guy that stabbed him. Lets burn down the town. That should make sens to Philospus.

      LVS, the outrage in Ferguson is because a white cop shot an unarmed black teen. Violence occurs in America everyday. Personally I think the issue is less about race and more about police ‘center mass’ policies when using their service weapons. That’s what the focus should be centered on. But I also don’t discount racial profiling grievances. Brown was acting like a thug that day…regardless, Wilson didn’t need to kill him.

        @Philospus-The thug was a felon committing a crime when he was shot. He became a felon the instant he decided to attack a officer of the law. The officer had every right to protect himself and he did so. It is people who have attitudes like your’s that are the cause of all the destruction. Those business owners did nothing wrong but had their property destroyed. If Holder and Obama had stayed out of it the guard would have been deployed much sooner and the destruction would have been less.
