Felonious drunk driver nabbed in Waterloo, brought to CG county for sentencing

MASON CITY – A Waterloo woman already convicted of third offense drunk driving and  failed to show up last month in court in Cerro Gordo county on a later charge of second offense drunk driving has been brought to jail to face sentencing.

Bianca Lynn Tebbs, age 32, was due Cerro Gordo county court on October 13 to be sentenced in a plea deal she accepted in a second degree drunk driving case. Tebbs had been stopped and arrested by the Iowa State Patrol back in February as she traveled though Cerro Gordo county. She was charged with second offense operating while intoxicated and malicious prosecution. Tebbs failed to appear on the 13th and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Tebbs was arrested Monday in Black Hawk county and transported to Cerro Gordo that same day. She is now in the county jail, held on bond, until a court date can be set in her plea deal sentencing.

Tebbs is currently facing a new charge of third offense drunk driving in Black Hawk county. She was stopped and arrested by Waterloo police back in April of this year. She appears to be scheduled for a December 15 hearing to be sentenced in that case.

Records show Tebbs pleaded guilty in 2011 to third offense drunk driving in Black Hawk county. She still owes nearly $4,000 in fines and fees in that case and her parole has been revoked.
