MASON CITY – A North End woman ventured a few blocks from home to help herself to a bottle of booze and was taken to jail.
An employee of the North End Kum & Go called police after 2 AM November 8 after a known female, 23-year-old Jennifer Nicole Sanchez, allegedly stole a bottle of booze.
After an investigation, a warrant for Sanchez’s arrest was issued by a judge on November 10, and Cerro Gordo deputies caught up with Sanchez and took her to jail that day. Sanchez posted $300 bond and was released. She now awaits a November 19 court date.
