MASON CITY – A Mason City woman who has been convicted of stealing previously was arrested again for the same crime.
Morgan Nicole Hockenson, age 25, was detained by loss prevention employees at a local store on November 2, 2014. Police were called, and she was arrested and taken to jail, charged with theft in the third degree and trespassing.
Hockenson will face a May 1, 2015 trial on the trespassing charge. She will be arraigned on November 17 on the theft charge. She was also caught shoplifting in December of 2012 at Mills Fleet Farm and found guilty of fifth degree theft that year, as well. She later pled guilty and was charged $400.00 in fines and fees, which she never made a payment on, yet.
