MASON CITY – A North Iowa man already facing felony theft charges in another nearby community was caught for shoplifting at a Mason City store.
Jackie Dennis Mitthun, age 32 of Thompson, Iowa, was stopped and detained by employees at Mills Fleet Farm on October 23. He was arrested and taken to jail; his charges were not specified. He was soon released from jail.
Mitthun was arrested on a warrant by Winnebago county deputies in connection with a felony second degree theft charge brought by Buffalo Center police. He faces a November 14 court date in that case.
