CRESTON, IA – An Iowa teen lost his life Thursday in a two-car accident.
The Iowa State Patrol reported that at 7:38 AM September 11, 2014, a 1999 Chevy Silverado driven by 15-year-old Christian Silva of Creston was eastbound on 200th Street near Vanilla Avenue in Adams county when Silva ran a stop sign and collided with a 2006 Peterbuilt semi driven by 37-year-old Joh Paxson of Mount Ayr. The Silverado rolled onto its top and entered the east ditch following the collision.
Silva was pronounced dead at the scene while Paxson was treated at the scene and released.
