In two games, Ott has recorded 17 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. He ranks third in the Big Ten in tackles for loss and 15th in total tackles. The Iowa defense has not allowed a rushing touchdown in two games and ranks second in the Big Ten with seven sacks.

Iowa’s most recent defensive Player of the Week was linebacker Christian Kirksey, who was recognized following Iowa’s win at Nebraska in the 2013 regular season finale.
