MASON CITY – The NIACC baseball prospect showcase is set for Sept. 27 at Roosevelt Stadium from 9 a.m. to noon.
The showcase, which is open to high school players, will give players an opportunity to showcase their skills to the NIACC baseball coaching staff as well at major league scouts, four-year and two-year college coaches.
Position players will be tested in home to first running times, defensive work and take batting practice. Pitchers will throw live bullpens and be recorded with a radar gun.
The entry fee is $75 for position players and pitchers. Registration for both sessions is $100.
Participants in the NIACC fall league do not need to register as the showcase is included in the fall league fee.
