OAK PARK HEIGHTS, MN – The Minnesota State Patrol is asking for the public’s help identifying a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run Aug. 2 in Oak Park Heights, Minn.
One bicyclist — 37-year-old Mai D. Yang — died Monday from her injuries. E. Xiong, Yang’s husband and the other bicyclist, was critically injured and is recovering at Regions Hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol and Oak Parks Heights police have yet to locate the suspect vehicle or its driver. The couple was hit head-on around 11:50 p.m. near the Wendy’s on 60th Street North, the frontage road along Highway 36.
