A 1999 Chevy Malibu driven by 16-year-old Jason Glandon of Charles City was stopped at the stop sign at that location, when he then took off going straight to the east when he was struck by a 2010 Malibu driven by 80-year-old Verna Schmiedel of Charles City who was driving north on Main Street.
