Habitual thief arrested by cops at Fleet Farm

MASON CITY – A Mason City woman with a track record of stealing was arrested Tuesday afternoon at Mills Fleet Farm.

Mason City police were called to the Mills Fleet Farm store, located at 3200 4th Street SW, Tuesday afternoon May 5 at about 3:48 PM to investigate an alleged theft. Police determined that a Mason City woman, Jennifer Lynn Gesiriech, age 38, had committed a theft and she was placed under arrest. Gesiriech was charged with third degree theft, enhanced, due to her previous theft arrests and convictions.

Gesiriech was taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail, booked and released as she awaits a May 26 court date.
