HAZELTON, IA – A man wanted on a felony theft charge was taken into custody by Iowa law enforcement Monday.
On April 28, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Brian Lynn Rhines, age 32 of Hazelton, at his residence on a warrant for Theft in the 2nd degree, a class D felony. Rhines was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he was held until his initial appearance. The warrant was issued after an investigation was conducted into the theft of items from a rural Hawkeye property on April 26, 2014.
The case is still ongoing and further arrests are expected.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
