GLENWOOD – On April 30, 2014, officers from the Glenwood Police Department responded to 302 N. Walnut, in Glenwood, for an intoxicated and suicidal subject. That subject was later identified as Joshua Sandlin, age 36. Mr. Sandlin was transported by Glenwood Rescue to Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, where he was pronounced dead.
Mr. Joshua Sandlin’s death remains under investigation at this time by the Glenwood Police Department and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
An autopsy is pending at the Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner in Ankeny.
The police aren’t run by Andy Taylor types anymore. Fife rules are in play now.

I heard the subject belonged to a cult group called “The Kingdom of Solaria” – probably had some nutjob like David Koresh running it that pushed him over the edge.
The Kingdom of Solaria…ah yes, a beautiful and magical place….coming to a region near you. Sorry to disappoint, but the Kingdom is not confined to David Koresh style Christianity. The Kingdom is a Kingdom of Peace, Prosperity, Equality, Liberty, and Justice 4 All. Something this corrupt, exploitative culture knows little about. Interesting how you heard of the Kingdom?
